.Behavior Plan
*All students will begin the day on green. Green means that the students are ready to learn. Based on the student’s behavior, he or she can move up or down. Outstanding behavior moves UP. Unacceptable behavior moves DOWN.
Green: Ready for an adventure! -Students are ready to learn!
Purple: “ROARING” behavior! -Making good choices! -Students will move their clip up above green.
Blue: KINGS and QUEENS of the jungle! -Outstanding behavior! -Students will move their clip up above purple (the highest color to be on)
Yellow: Monkeying around? -Warning-Students will move their clip down below green
Orange: Too much rumble in the jungle!-Students will move their clip down below yellow. Teacher’s choice
Consequence: Silent lunch and ten minutes taken away from Fun Friday
Red: Lost in the jungle! -Students will move their clip down below orange. Consequence: Silent lunch, complete loss of Fun Friday, and a note, email, or phone call to parents
Students will have their own behavior clip that will be moved anytime during the day based on their behavior. They will be given a verbal warning before their clips are moved. If their behavior has not changed after moving their clip to red, they will be sent to the office. There will be a monthly calendar that every student will have in their folders. Their folders will go home with them daily and the students will mark the color they have been on each day. PARENTS: Please initial your child's calendar each day. Students will be given a “Banana Buck” at any point during the day. A “Banana Buck” is equivalent to a dollar and will be given for different reasons such as: being a friend, neat handwriting, great participation, great behavior while walking in the hall, etc. “Banana Bucks” are earned, but can be taken if behavior becomes an issue. Every two weeks, students will be able to use their “Banana Bucks” to purchase something. These purchases may include given a special treat, playing on the Ipad, or a trip to the treasure box.
